The configuration used by Juan Rombaut at the 2024 China World Cup
 
The Ultimate Strato is one of the most “on rails” or locked‑in airplanes Juan has ever flown. He debuted this model at the China World Cup 2024, where it delivered great performance and gave him the confidence to fly clean and precise sequences against some of the world’s best pilots.
 
For this build, the Dualsky CRS3000 ContraDrive was selected. Thanks to the Strato’s excellent natural penetration—achieved through its specific wing profile and thin fuselage, an oversized power system isn’t necessary. The CRS3000 provides ample authority while keeping the aircraft light and balanced. To enhance responsivness—especially important for the current F programs—Falcon CRS 23x20 propellers were chosen, giving the aircraft a livelier feel that complements its smaller decanalizer design. The powertrain is completed with the Dualsky Summit HV ESC
 
For ailerons, elevator, and T-Brake, Dualsky mini servos throughout (more than enough for this airframe) and a robust DS‑8930 on the rudder for precise yaw control. A T‑Brake was also added, improving speed management.
 
Flight characteristics
The Strato excels at line tracing—drawing clean, geometric figures with minimal correction. It feels locked‑in at any speed, handles wind effortlessly, and provides a reassuring, stable platform that allows pilots to focus on presentation rather than constant stick work. For P programs, it’s a perfect match; and while not as reactive as an Anthem or Epilogue, it still performs very well in F schedules, offering a balance of stability and responsiveness ideal for many competitive pilots.
 
This is the exact configuration Juan uses in competition, making it a proven, tuned combo ready to perform at the highest level—or a fantastic option for pilots stepping up into F3A who want a reliable, confidence‑building aircraft.
